Sea freight forwarder in Gandhidham

Container terminal with cranes, trucks and a cargo ship

3VB ShippTrans provides sea freight forwarding for importers and exporters shipping containers through Deendayal Port (Kandla) and Mundra Port. From our base in Gandhidham, we secure space with shipping lines, manage the documentation and coordinate every step between your premises and the port.

Our team handles more than 3,000 containers every month. That volume has built strong working relationships with shipping lines, which helps us secure timely bookings and keep your cargo moving, even when vessel space is tight.

How sea freight forwarding works

  1. Enquiry and quote. Share the commodity, volume, origin, destination and preferred dates, and we recommend a suitable routing.
  2. Booking. We confirm space with a shipping line and share the booking details and cut-off times.
  3. Pickup and documentation. We arrange container pickup, prepare the shipping documents and complete customs clearance.
  4. Loading and sailing. The container is gated in at the port and loaded onto the vessel, and we share the bill of lading details.
  5. Arrival and delivery. For inbound cargo, we handle import clearance and deliver the container to your premises.

Container shipping options

Most of the cargo we move travels as a full container load (FCL), where your goods occupy the whole container from origin to destination. We can advise on the right container size for your shipment. If your cargo is heavy, oversized or needs special handling, tell us about it and we will confirm what can be arranged before you book.

Frequently asked questions about sea freight

Quick answers from the 3VB ShippTrans team. For anything else, contact us.

What is the difference between a freight forwarder and a shipping line?

A shipping line owns or operates the vessels that carry containers. A freight forwarder such as 3VB ShippTrans arranges the whole shipment for you: booking space with the shipping line, preparing documents, clearing customs and organising transport to and from the port, so you deal with one partner instead of several.

Which ports do you use for sea freight?

We are based in Gandhidham, next to Deendayal Port (Kandla) and near Mundra Port, which makes the Kutch ports a natural choice for our customers. Share your origin and destination with us and we will recommend the most suitable port and routing for your cargo.

How do I get a sea freight quote?

Send us the commodity, the number and type of containers or the cargo volume, the origin and destination, and your preferred shipping dates. With these details we can check options with shipping lines and share a quotation. Use the form on our contact page, call +91 91739 43336 or email harsh@3vbshipptrans.com.

Can you clear customs and deliver the container as well?

Yes. Besides booking sea freight, we are a licensed customs broker and run a fleet of more than 200 vehicles. We can clear your export or import shipment and move the container between your premises and the port, giving you a single point of contact for the entire journey.

What does FCL mean in shipping?

FCL stands for full container load, where one shipper's cargo uses an entire container. It is usually the most secure and cost-effective option for larger volumes, because the container is sealed at origin and is not shared with other cargo. We can help you choose the right container size for your shipment.
